Gus: It's the most important thing there is. Love. Finding the right person to spend your life with.
Lucas: I know I made the right choice.
Gus: That's where it gets you. Thinking you had a choice. Love finds you, Son, you don't find love. It's got a little bit to do with destiny, fate, what's written in the stars. A lot to do with the simple fact most women are smarter than we are. And wily. Your sorry butt never had a chance. But if you want to believe you had a choice in the matter, I'd say you made a good one.
Lucas: Why is that?
Gus: Because she showed up and she sure is pretty.

poeticallyundead: ‘It will get easier with time,’ I’d said, letting security and peace of mind fall upon you. But with every passing day, the dam I’d built to keep myself together has been weakening. Struck with tears, the flood takes me away and I feel every mile between us. How I long for your embrace and when midnight struck my tear stained cheeks I felt the stark air of my empty room, of...

I love that feeling you get when you don’t remember that you’re reading. When you’re so captured by a book that you forget you’re reading the words. All you see is the descriptions and conversations that being to play out like a movie in your head. You don’t even think about it. Then before you know it, you’ve read 100 pages without realizing it. That’s probably the best feeling in the world.

Lyrics to, I don't mind waiting
You know sometimes in life, situations are going to occur where you may look to the left or the right and you can’t find any answers and you can’t find anybody to help you but I’m reminded of the Word that says “they that wait upon the Lord, He shall renew their strength.” They shall mount up on wings as eagles. They shall run and not be weary. They shall walk...

When I was a little girl I use to believe in magic. In prince charming, fairytales that one day I’ll find myself marrying my prince charming like cinderella and snow white and all those characters Walt Disney told over the years. To me that was the magic I grew up. The magic of finding love that last for a lifetime. Everything in my little child mind was about magic. I believed it in my...
One Tree Hill character reading Boy’s Life Here’s the passage quoted: You know, I do believe in magic. I was born and raised in a magic time, in a magic town, among magicians. Oh, most everybody else didn’t realize we lived in that web of magic, connected by silver filaments of chance and circumstance. But I knew it all along. When I was twelve years old, the world was my magic lantern,...
becausefiction: Writing about writing isn’t easy, I have discovered. And this came out very different to what I’d originally intended. But I liked the last line: “So I’ll write until my fingers bleed, just to quiet the need.” Then my ex (who helps edit what I write sometimes) said it was better without. I’m not so sure. Ah well.
